Dr. Bryan Sykes claims he has proven that the Yeti is actually an ancient polar bear. Stories from the Himalayas from early explorers and locals suggests that there's a bipedal man-like creature lurking in the mountains. Dr. Sykes is convinced that people who claimed to have seen a yeti were actually seeing a bear -- or some sort of hybrid. Sykes believes the next step is to find these creatures and see if they exhibit the same behavior as what people identified as "yeti":
